NHRI received our first group of little visitors in 2018 on February, 1st as part of community outreach. The one-day event aims to introduce NHRI to our neighboring elementary school students and educate ways to help save the environment.
Dr. Pinpin Lin, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and Dr. ChinuYu Hsu presented on air pollution, sources and effects of PM2.5 and ways to reduce pollution and protect oneself in daily life. In the meantime, students were introduced to indoor purifying air plants and get to put their hands-on in assembling these plants to take home. The group also received a conducted tour to get to know the greens and ecological pond on NHRI campus. We hope our little visitors have exceptional experiences at NHRI
Green Tour runs four times a year during winter and summer school vacations.
